Treasure hunting: Allen Edmonds "Mora" double-monk...
Today’s WIWT picture featured my newly acquired Allen Edmonds “Mora” double-monks. Sadly, these are currently not in production and I don’t think there’s anyone else better suited to profess a love for these shoes than L.A.S. at Sartorially Inclined, calling it a “sartorial unicorn.”

Today was the final day of smileifyourewinning’s “November of Dressing Nicely” project (aka, #NoDN), so I thought I’d wear a suit (Lands’ End tailored fit that I had altered by tapering the legs, taking in the seat, hemming and tapering the jacket’s sides).

Another cold day, another day to layer up. Tweed jacket, v-neck sweater vest, plaid flannel sport shirt with a pair of jeans.
Went with a basic brown wool tie and paisley pocket square (you guessed it, both were thrifted at absurd prices of less than a dollar).

Going to a holiday party today after work for a bunch of politicos and media types, so for the first time in a quite a while I’m wearing a full suit to work.
Since it’s cold as hell, I also threw on a sweater vest. A festive plaid Scottish wool tie, navy gingham and a charcoal suit.

Just had my first "bad" eBay experience
Seriously, how do you list an item as “in excellent condition” and let it have two holes (one in the pants, one on the jacket) and stains (on the pants?!) and think someone isn’t going to call you out on that shit?
Hopefully I get a refund and it all sorts itself out.
