Off to a friend’s house for a poker game after work. Out of the suit and into some more casual clothing: 501s, university-stripe oxford, chunky shawl sweater, wool-knit tie. This is my standard off-work clothing I pack when I’m on the road. Super simple and doesn’t really matter if it’s been sitting in a bag.

I’ve decided that with few exceptions I’ll only be looking to buy navy neckties from now on. I’m not against having other colors, but it’s just so much easier to put together with everything else I wear from day to day. The only two exceptions I can think that I really need would be a glen plaid in basic black and white and a solid burgundy or wine silk repp tie.
