Are you following minimalmusings? No? Well, then you probably missed this post about a fairly wide selection of black suede double monks south of the $200 price point:

Dub Monks for $164.50. - ebay.
The Last Call by Neiman Marcus store has these Magnanni Double Monk-Strap Suede shoes for $164.50.
This is the same price that they have on their site for an extra 30% off the lowest price for Columbus day. - website.
I have a $70 ebay bucks burning a hole in my pocket. Might not be a bad way to spend it.
The sale ends at midnight tomorrow. They are in black suede, with a cap toe and silver buckles. Stacked leather heel and are made in Spain.
Seems like a pretty good buy. They have a 30 day return policy so if they don’t work out you can return them.

Just sayin’, you should follow the guy. He knows how to hunt down a deal. I only held off on reblogging this to give my brother a crack at these dubmonks first.
