Have you ever heard of De Louice in Wicker Park? Fully bespoke suiting starting at $500. Thinking this was too good to be true, I investigated only to find hundreds of swatches of super 180s wool and cashmere/wool blends at that price point. I have heard that he ships the fabric to an Asian country to have it constructed and does the fittings and alterations himself, but have no confirmation of this. It all seems so hard to believe...

I think that sounds more or less like made-to-measure than “true” bespoke. Bespoke often involves multiple fittings over the course of several months. But I could be wrong. If you have $500 and want to give it a shot, why not? It’s about on par pricewise with Indochino.
