I have the option of getting half of a MTM suit for Christmas this year (my parents 50%, myself for the other 50%). I got one made by the same guy for me last year and it is by far the best fitting suit I have. I have a conundrum though, should I get a charcoal suit (yes, I don't have one) or a navy blazer (also don't have one). I'd have a price limit on the suit, around $800, but I could get a banging navy blazer for say $500. The parents would only pay 50% either way. Thoughts? Thanks!

I’d got with whatever you think you’ll wear more. You already have a good-fitting suit. Do you see yourself needing another suit to wear professionally or maybe to more formal events? If not, then opt for the blazer. For a purchase like that, I’d always go with what will be the most used.
