New webshop alert: Exquisite Trimmings — If you stick around Tumblr long enough, then you’ll eventually come across photos on menswear blogs featuring guys wearing some fantastic neckwear that you realize you almost never see in retail shops near you. Brands like Rubinacci, E.G. Cappelli, Battisti, etc., aren’t exactly commonplace — let alone at potentially affordable prices.

You begin to wonder, “Where does one find Pitti Uomo-level neckwear like that?” You maybe can find a few odd pieces here or there via StyleForum’s Buy & Sell or snipe one on eBay, but the selection is rather lacking.

So, that’s why I was really interested in finding Exquisite Trimmings while lurking StyleForum one day, which stocks all sorts of neckwear, pocket squares and scarves from some well-known names in addition to the ones mentioned above: Drake’s, Brioni, Corneliani, E. Tautz, Ermenegildo Zegna and others — and at some really affordable prices for many of them.

I asked the store owner, Shaya, if this was just a one-time offering, or if the store will continue to stock these items. As it turns out, Shaya’s planning to offer the future collections of E.G. Cappelli, Drake’s and Rubinacci in the future and have a greater variety available, too, starting next year.
