Announcing Clamorist.com — For a while now I’ve been wanting to just start a Tumblr blog that’s solely focused on the random assortment of menswear items I find online without feeling compelled to write anything at length about them.
Essentially, “Here’s some cool stuff. Check it out.”
I’ve sometimes done this here, at The Silentist, and I’ve always been kind of on the fence about how it fits in on where I’d like the direction of this blog to move toward. It’s been my thinking that if I filled up The Silentist with an endless stream of product photos, then when I do take the time to write something and put decent work into, then it’ll be lost and not as easily accessible to those who visit the site.
So, the Clamorist is a spin-off of sorts that documents the items I find and have the thought, “Oh damn, that’s cool.” Feel free to follow it if you’re interested in that sort of thing. Otherwise, The Silentist will focus more on reviews and personal essays as I feel the urgency to write them.
