Woah, good looking out. I might have to snag these in white and blue. Plus, Brooks Brothers is running a sale now that essentially knocks the shipping/tax price off.
My only gripe with light-colored trousers and getting them in linen is that they’re so freaking easy to get dirty! If you sit down outside at all or even lean against something, BAM!, dirty trousers and you can’t just throw these into the wash.
EDIT: Huh. The product description says “machine wash.” I was always under the impression you can’t/shouldn’t machine wash linen. A quick Google search turned up this StyleForum thread on machine washing linen pants.
Some of them say that machine washing blends works out OK, but 100% linen doesn’t. Others also warn that linen doesn’t shrink uniformly and that’s reason enough to not do it. Tough call.
