I was with a friend at Mill Creek armory the other day. It is a store that specializes in Class 3, Full auto, and modified firearms. He was telling me someone bought a Stevens Thompson at the Knob Creek full auto shoot. The man at Mill Creek did the transfer work for him. I said, "That must have set him back a pretty penny." He told me it did... to the tune of Thirty-Five Thousand dollars.

Cheap thompson full autos go for 14,000. I'm not misplacing a zero.

So best of luck with the Zoot Shooting.

BTW, I get that you were joking about buying a gun, but I thought you would find that interesting.

Yup, definitely was kidding (and there’s zero chance of owning such a gun in Chicago), but that’s really interesting. I had no idea they were so pricey. I’m guessing it’s because they’re not manufactured anymore/spare parts are hard to find/working guns are hard to find.
