Survival of the Fittest: Stepping Up your Chino Neutrals
Chinos, for those of us who don’t have to wear suits every day but can’t wear whatever we want (aka business causal), are just a part of life. And you know what? I love chinos.
Solid post here, especially tackling the navy chinos and I definitely agree with playing up the military-inspired look with chinos, too. It’s a pretty easy and cheap thing to do and manages to look good.

That green? ‘true khaki’? olive? colour is a massive hole in my chino line-up. Like you, chinos are the backbone of my wardrobe. They’re the fail-safe for someone who still favours casual, but doesn’t want denim 24-7.

I think a gray blazer could go with blue chinos. Its like flipping the standard upside down which someone (LAS) did a post on a while back.

wearing my navy chinos as i read this. well put. and you’re right - it’s hard to pair a sport coat with em. i do, however, have a light gray number that goes pretty damn well with them.
