Vintage 1950s Black Watch Tartan Wool Tie
In case you missed my post last night, I’ve set up a little bigcartel storefront to sell some vintage ties. Briefly after launching the store, I made my first sale: the tie pictured above, along with a black watch pocket square. Go me!
I’ve drawn my paycheck for the past 6 years while performing customer service and shipping functions for an online apparel retailer, so I like to think that I know what I’m doing. So far it’s off to a good start.

Normally, I’d be so-so on the idea of having matching necktie and jacket patterns, but that brown cardigan makes this work so well and minimizes the effect really well.
Also, I don’t think anyone’s really as passionate a fan of black watch gear as acutestyle — and it really rivals his fandom of gingham.
