Epaulet’s multicolor gingham raw silk tie looks really cool, but I’m having hard time thinking how I would incorporate this into my wardrobe, which tends to be slightly more conservative in nature.
I feel that multicolored ties are really hard to use as a necktie, as I see a necktie as something that helps anchor down an outfit, rather than scream loudly like this.
What would be really awesome is if they took this fabric and sold it as a pocket square. The multicolored aspect would allow it to work with almost any shirt-tie-jacket combination for summer. Additionally, you could use it to give your fit some color when you decide to forgo the necktie because of the heat in the summer.
So, please, someone make a multicolor raw silk pocket square. I’d buy one.
